Client is a Government department part of smart city development, an urban planning agency of the capital city which is going to be the first full scale smart city in the country of India.
Challenge
Measurement book must be looked upon as the most important record as it is the basis of all accounts of quantities, whether of work done by daily labor or by the piece work system or by contract, or of materials received which must be counted or measured. Description of the work must be lucid to admit easy identification and check payments for all works done otherwise than by daily labor’s and for all supplies should be made based on detailed measurements. This needs to get recorded in measurement book in accordance with the rules that have been laid down
The Solution
In a significant decision aimed at minimizing chances of pilferage, client wanted to automate the recording of measurement book under works management. OSoft Labs has been identified as the technology/delivery arm to help the primary vendor of the client.
